Rain, Rain Go Away

When we went to bed last night it was pouring rain and when we woke up it was still raining. We stayed at the hotel for the morning and in the early afternoon went to the front desk to ask where a laundry mat would be and they said they had laundry service at the hotel, you drop your cloths off in the morning and they bring them back clean the next morning. Too bad we did not know about this earlier. Instead we took off in the rain to try and find a laundry mat. No such luck, just got soaking wet! So we went back to the hotel and played cards until 4:00 when we decided to go have lunch. After lunch we hopped on the metro and went to the Duomo (Cathedral) which is the fourth largest church in Europe. It was very large and beautiful inside. Some bum gave me popcorn kernels in my hand and these pigeons attacked me while Darren laughed and took a picture, and then the guy wanted us to pay him at which time Darren said NO many times. We then headed down into Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, which is where all the high end designer fashion shops begin.... Milan is the fashion capital of the world, so we mostly window shopped knowing that we could not afford a pair of socks in most of these shops, it was pretty cool to see though.
